Gonzo er 4 år og den eneste Groenendael
i verden som har denne tittelen. Det er et tøft program hvor hunden skal
gjennom både lydighet, svømmeprøve, søk i skogen og forsvar. Det er en
sport hollenderne har drevet med siden 1900-tallet og hunder utdannes
via dette programmet til politiet, militæret og redningsforeninger.
Gonzo bestod med score 427 av 435 mulige! Det blir betegnet som svært
enestående og det er svært få hunder som får så høy score. Dere kan lese

Gonzo har 2 kull fra før, ett i Holland
og ett i USA (5 mnd gamle). Begge kull er svært lovende. Han har flere søsken (3/4) som har gjort det
bra i Fransk Ring, blant annet FR 2 Fils des Fèes D'ebene, FR 2 Furtif,
MR 1 Fuzion, VPG 3 IPO Flicka. Han har noen helsøsken også, men de har
ikke konkurrert enda. To av dem trenes i Fransk Ring og de andre er
familiehunder.
He is the only now living
groenendael to have the title KNPV-PH1 and with the score 427 out of 435.....
That is extraordinary! Even if he had been a mix-breed (most common dogs
in KNPV) or malinois it is unusually high!
Politiehond I (Police Dog I) is the basic program in
KNPV. The starting point in training a dog in
KNPV is PH-1. It is the most popular program
in Holland. In The Netherlands, starting in the early 1900's
KNVP (Royal Dutch Police Dog Association) has been providing
trained and titled working dogs to its police, military, rescue
organizations for a fraction of what other countries charged for
untitled and untrained dogsMore infmation about the whole

Gonzo is
just fantastic! He is well balanced and social towards people, has great
working abilities and very strong
nerves. He has been chosen on the
background of his workingabilities, and a very stable mentality. He has high
drives, and works calm and determined. He is always willing to please his
handler and are very loadable during training. He works very selfconfident and
have a hard grip. This is important, as in the KNPV programe the dogs has to
solve a lot of problems by themselves. He has a square body and is strong
and athletic build, with strong bones. He has a thick coat, and a very nice
attitude.
